Life is like a vaguely interesting late movie. Most of it passes while we think of the day gone by or the day to come. Our attention holds enough to know it's happening but, apart from the particularly loud, dramatic or sorrowful moments, we allow it to drift by until it ends in a sudden or sleepy black out. Only, one day, we won't find ourselves waking on the sofa at 2am. We'd have had our last unappreciated moment. We'd have eaten the last chocolate that we'd forgotten to taste. We'd have smiled or scowled our last at the person who accompanies us through life and will be without opportunity to explain what we really mean.
A moment passes by in the clutch of our hands or in front of our eyes.
I am Chris...
